Ok, after catch-up round 1, we still don't know for sure which players are going to win the different grades of the club championships, but we have a slightly better idea than last week.
In the A grade, Nic is sitting on top having won a wild Sicilian Dragon against Roger Perry, but he has now played all his games.
We know that Anthony is not going to win, having been on the receiving end of a miniature Dive brilliancy on Thursday, but he can influence the outcome if he can beat Scott Wastney.
Russell just has Bill Forster to play, so if he can win that then he will overtake Nic, but he will need someone to knock a point off Scott (either Anthony or Michael Nyberg) if he is going to take the title outright.
In the B grade Ross Jackson has played all his games, and is half a point ahead of Alan Aldridge, who needs to beat Peter Stoeveken in his final game to take the title.
In the C grade Yogesh Kulkarni has won all his games, but he could still be caught by Patrick if he loses his last 2 games (this seems unlikely!)
William Scarlett is way ahead of the field in the D grade, but he could theoretically be overtaken by Karthik Konakanchi if he loses to Chris Sole and Karthik wins his last 3 games.
