The B grade looks very interesting, Alok Pandey is hanging in there in the lead but he is going to be challenged strongly, I think, by Ramarao Miriyala, who has won all the 3 games he has played so far. Also on 3 points is our wonderfully talented 11 year old Layla Timergazi, who won the classic youth versus experience match against Don Stracy.
The C grade has been thrown open by Ken Heaton suffering his first loss of the championship, against John Cook. Actually, this will be Ken's last game of the championship, as he is sadly unable to play any more games at the club until November. It's great to see another young talent near the top of the table in Josh Wight, and he will play on board 1 against John Cook next week.
