Anthony Ker is Club Champion

A very strong performance from Anthony Ker means that he is the club champion for 2016 - Congratulations!
This is the first time Anthony has won this title since 2012, and a far cry from his disappointing 5.5/9 last year.

So we now have champions decided in all grades apart from the C grade - everything is up in the air there.

Layla beats Russell in style

I simply have to share this game.

It's the first time 15-year-old Layla Timergazi has beaten IM Russell Dive in a standard length game, and she does it with considerable panache. Well done Layla!

Not surprisingly, she was smiling from ear to ear when she came out of the club room.
